All courses are led by our Director, Dr John Buckley

Dr Buckley is an internationally recognised trainer and consultant, working with public and private sector clients. He has authored seven books, research papers, policies and procedures and other articles related to psychology including its application in law enforcement. Four of these books relate specifically to the management of human sources (HUMINT collection) and intelligence operations. He has over 46 years operational and research experience and has previously held a Top Secret security clearance. He served as a police officer in the United Kingdom for 28 years specialising in the management of human sources (confidential informants) , counter terrorism, organised crime and intelligence. He has worked on numerous complex investigations. Over the past 25 years he has developed and delivered training and consultancy services on an international basis working on projects on all five continents with law enforcement, intelligence services, military, and the private sector. His experience means that all training is adapted to meet your legislation and operational environment. Dr Buckley posses extensive knowledge of legislation relating to law enforcement management specific to the the following jurisdictions - UK, USA, Canada, and Australia.

He has an extensive knowledge of the psychology and its application in investigations, terrorism and general policing. He specialises in all aspects of intelligence management and collection, organised crime and terrorism, and structured debriefing/ interviewing. He has extensive experience in researching law enforcement matters. He has delivered training in investigation management, corruption, security and wildlife crime. He is a well-practiced public speaker and university lecturer. Having worked at all levels of informant management, he regularly provides expert consultancy services to agencies and legal representatives in relation to the management of informants.

Supporting staff:

Supporting staff will be drawn from our team depending, upon the specific requirements of the procuring agency. All will have extensive experience in the subject and all are experienced in delivering training on an international basis.
